The following are TIPS for keeping your Arctic Cloud Transportable Freezer in top working order. Please read this information before initial use of your Arctic Cloud Freezer.
- Initial Charge: Upon delivery of the unit, you must keep in plugged in for 36 hours.
- Warning!! Never charge your Arctic Cloud Freezer with the tailgate closed.
- Warning!! Go slowly while crossing Speed Bumps. Crossing at a high rate of speed could cause solder fittings and joints to loosen.
- Warning!! Do not use high pressure water or steam to clean your Arctic Cloud Freezer.
- Freezers should be plugged in each evening after usage for a minimum of six hours.
- Please do not store any materials between plates and the freezer wall, or place any objects in the freezer that may jam exposed valves or copper tubing.
- For any mechanical problems that may arise, please call the Arctic Cloud office in Lewisburg, TN at (800) 251-8990. Your general warranty will not be honored unless you contact Arctic Cloud first.
- Use a minimum of a 12-gauge electrical extension cord to provide A/C power while charging of your Arctic Cloud Freezer. This will help prevent overheating & fire possibilities. This will also save money on your electric bills.
- During the winter (temperatures below 35°), use a light coating of "Vaseline" petroleum jelly on the seals of the doors to prevent sticking.
- To maintain your Arctic Cloud Freezer at the coldest temperature for the longest period of time, only open one door at a time. Also, defrost your Cold Plates once every other week.
- Clean frost build-up off your Cold Plates with a Shop-Vac (Wet & Dry) Vacuum. This is more efficient than defrosting with warm water, and causes fewer problems during the cold months.
